How to Use The Gold Mine of Facebook For Bollywood Acting Jobs

With more than 1 billion users, Facebook is the world’s largest social network and No.1 site in India as well. It is an indispensable site for actors and models. You are sure to find more useful information to get modeling and acting jobs in Bollywood, TV serials, Ads and Print.

How to use Facebook

1. Join Facebook (Follow below mentioned instructions): Upload your headshots, resume, your website or blog details (if you don't have one, create immediately. If you don't know, contact us, we will make one for you) 
2. Join casting, casting directors and film related groups mentioned below. Note that these groups are "open" groups and you don't need an approval. Soon it will be confirmed.

By visiting these groups daily, you will get the details of-

• Current castings
• Details of the casting directors who post casting calls and their contact details
• You can contact these casting directors directly by mobile or email and can send your portfolio, resume and show reel
• Many of the groups mentioned below do not mind "a self promotion" by members. However, this has to be checked before you post your headshots and resume on a group's page
• Remember using Facebook groups are the easiest and the best time saving way to get you a modeling or acting assignment. It is my hard work for you and nowhere else you will find this list. Therefore, use it to your maximum advantage

How to open a Facebook account?

• Go to www.facebook.com. Towards the left side of the screen you will see a "Sign Up" on Screen. On here you will need to enter your information. Notice, it says email. If you do not have an email address yet, you can get a free one off gmail.com or yahoo.com. After you enter your information click "Sign Up"
• After you click sign up they will ask you to verify a few words. Enter the words from the screen in the text box below it and click "sign up" again
• Facebook will then send an email to the email account you entered. You will need to go to this account and open their email. The email will direct you to click on a link to verify that you're real. After you complete this you can login to Facebook with your email address and password that you entered. You can login by going to facebook.com and entering your email and password at the top of the screen.
• Facebook also has the option for you to add all your friends in your email address book that you have. This is an easy way to get a quick contact group. Once this is complete you can edit your profile.
• At the top of your Facebook screen you will see a profile link. Click that to make edits to your profile. You can also click on settings to edit other items like email settings, etc...

Important: 

• Put a good header picture and your best head shot as your profile picture
• Writing properly under "about" is needed for actors and models. You would be required to put a summery and more details at two separate places under "about"
